How do families share a holiday home calendar?
- With one shared calendar everyone can see and book. Bookable gives the holiday home, beach hut or cabin a live calendar, you share one private invite link with the family, and each person books the dates they want. Once a weekend is booked, it is booked, and the group chat can go back to photos.
Is the family calendar private?
- Yes. Family spaces are private by default. People join only through your invite link, and only members can see the calendar or make bookings. You can also show bookings as "Busy" without names.
Can we set up standing bookings like Sunday lunch at the big house?
- Yes. Weekly repeating bookings cover traditions: Sunday lunch, Friday film night in the cinema room, the Saturday morning court slot. Set them once and they repeat until you stop them.
Does everyone in the family need to download an app?
- No. Bookable works in the browser on any phone or laptop, and there are iOS and Android apps for people who want them. Everyone can add a booking to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook in one tap.
